This Friendsgiving, Wild Turkey Bourbon is turning the holiday into more than just a feast—it’s a movement. The iconic Kentucky distiller has joined forces with The Farmlink Project and culinary star Andrew Rea (better known as Babish) to tackle food waste and hunger, all while offering fans a chance to win an unforgettable NYC experience.
The partnership is rooted in a shared mission: to transform surplus food into meals for those in need. The Farmlink Project, a nonprofit that connects farms with excess produce to food banks, will receive a $101,000 donation from Wild Turkey. This funding will help rescue and redistribute surplus crops—especially apples, which are abundant this season—reducing waste and increasing access to fresh food.
“Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s, household waste jumps by an estimated 25%, much of it food,” says Aidan Reilly, Chief of External Affairs at The Farmlink Project. “With Wild Turkey and Babish, we’re not just raising awareness—we’re turning surplus into sustenance and inspiring others to do the same.”
To celebrate the season and the cause, Babish and Wild Turkey have crafted the Wild Apple Pie Cocktail, a festive drink featuring Wild Turkey 101, dehydrated apple syrup, and aromatic bitters. The recipe is a nod to the apples Farmlink is rescuing, and a reminder that even small choices—like using “ugly” produce—can make a big difference.
“Friendsgiving is about coming together, but it’s also a chance to give back,” says Babish. “This cocktail is our way of toasting to the season and the mission.”
Wild Turkey is also inviting fans 21+ to enter the Friendsgiving Sweepstakes for a chance to win a private dinner in NYC, hosted by Babish and featuring Wild Turkey cocktail pairings. It’s a chance to celebrate with friends while supporting a cause that matters.
“At Wild Turkey, we believe in bold flavors and bold actions,” says Allison Varone, Head of Marketing at Campari America. “This campaign is about more than just a meal—it’s about making an impact.”
This Friendsgiving, Wild Turkey, Babish, and The Farmlink Project are proving that the best gatherings are those that give as much as they get. Cheers to that.
