Brewery X Expands at Ontario International Airport, Bringing More Southern California Flavor to the Skies

Brewery X, which opened in Terminal 2 at Ontario International Airport in November 2023, will be expanding to Terminal 4 as well.

Craft beer lovers flying through Ontario International Airport (ONT) will soon have twice the reason to raise a glass. Anaheim-based Brewery X is expanding its footprint at the airport with a second location opening in Terminal 4 in 2026, building on the success of its original Terminal 2 taproom that debuted just two years ago.

The new Brewery X outpost will sit across from Gate 408, next to ONT’s California Science Center interactive space — offering travelers a laid-back, Southern California-inspired spot to relax before their flight. Known for its creative brews and bold branding, Brewery X has quickly become a local favorite at ONT, even crafting a signature airport-exclusive blonde aleCome Fly With Me, which has become a top seller among passengers.

“Our partnership with Ontario International Airport has been extraordinary from day one,” said Clayton Wellbank, CEO of Brewery X. “We’ve seen firsthand how much travelers appreciate having a genuine local craft beer experience at ONT, and we’re excited to bring that same energy to Terminal 4.”

The expansion marks another milestone in ONT’s growing reputation as one of the most passenger-friendly airports in the country, blending regional pride with a fresh lineup of dining options. “Airports aren’t just places you pass through — they reflect the people and culture of the community they serve,” said Atif Elkadi, CEO of the Ontario International Airport Authority. “With Brewery X, travelers get an authentic taste of Southern California before they even leave the ground.”

Brewery X’s new location is expected to open alongside a second Chick-fil-A in 2026, as part of ONT’s continued partnership with SSP America to transform its food and beverage program. Together, the additions highlight ONT’s mission to deliver local flavor, national favorites, and a true sense of place — one pint at a time.
