Working Draft Beer Company

We founded Working Draft Beer Company in 2018 because we wanted to create a communal space where people could gather with friends in a welcoming, art-filled space over delicious, hand-crafted beer.

Clint Lohman, Head Brewer, co-founder, and co-owner, and Miranda Ladwig, our brewer and facility manager, are dedicated to honoring the traditions of classic European breweries, while also putting their spin on fresh American styles and highlighting incredible ingredients. You will find a wide variety of styles on tap, from clean and crisp lagers, to juicy and fresh IPAs, to malty English ales served through a traditional beer engine. There is always something for everyone here at the taproom. Our flagship beers, To Those Who Wait Czech-style Pale Lager, and Pulp Culture Hazy IPA, highlight our diverse range.

We think the best way to enjoy our beer is fresh out of the taps at WDBC, it’s as fresh as can be. But many of our beers are available to-go in cans at the taproom and in cans and on draft around Madison at your favorite liquor stores and restaurants / bars.
