Brooklyn’s own craft beer pioneer, Brooklyn Brewery, is set to open its first-ever airport location inside John F. Kennedy International Airport’s upcoming Terminal 6, joining a slate of locally inspired dining and drinking destinations designed to bring an authentic New York flavor to travelers from around the world.
The new outpost will debut in 2026 as part of the $4.2 billion terminal redevelopment led by JFK Millennium Partners and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, marking a major milestone in the city’s effort to transform JFK into a world-class global gateway.
Located in the soaring east food hall of Terminal 6 — complete with an 80-foot oculus skylight — the Brooklyn Brewery bar will sit alongside fellow New York icons Di Fara Pizza and Alidoro, creating a vibrant hub for travelers looking to enjoy a final (or first) taste of the city before takeoff. Operated by airport veteran M&R Concessions, the bar will serve a full lineup of Brooklyn Brewery favorites including Brooklyn Lager, Pilsner, East IPA, and new seasonal and non-alcoholic offerings.
“For almost 40 years, Brooklyn Brewery has called New York home,” said Robin Ottaway, President of Brooklyn Brewery. “Having a presence in JFK’s new Terminal 6 marks a meaningful step for us, giving both New Yorkers and travelers from around the world the chance to enjoy our beers while on the move.”

The brewery’s airport debut underscores JFK’s renewed focus on highlighting local businesses that reflect the city’s creative and culinary spirit. “The Brooklyn Brewery bar will bring a quintessential New York vibe to Terminal 6 and is a fantastic addition to the already impressive line-up of concessionaires,” said M&R Concessions co-founders Monisha and Rajiv Singla.
Brooklyn Brewery joins P.J. Clarke’s and For Five Coffee Roasters as part of Terminal 6’s first wave of openings, each marking their brand’s first airport location. Together, they anchor a food and beverage lineup centered on iconic New York names and neighborhood favorites.

Currently under construction, Terminal 6 will open in phases beginning in 2026, eventually housing ten gates, expansive retail and dining areas, and a curated collection of local art and sustainable design features. When complete, it will connect seamlessly with JetBlue’s Terminal 5, creating a modern, traveler-friendly hub on JFK’s north side.
With its signature mix of bold design, local flavor, and global reach, the new Brooklyn Brewery bar promises to deliver exactly what travelers expect from New York: a place to raise a glass before heading anywhere in the world.
